AVON.com.br is the main website of AVON Cosmetics Brazil. Used as a hub for gather all marketing, branding, product, and institutional pages.

The Challenge

The previous website was built upon a CMS that requires a big effort to create new pages and to perform maintenance. In order to follow a new company mindset, provide a better experience, accessibility, and content to the brand guests, the company decided to revamp the website.

Strategy

On this first step together with the stakeholder, I defined the project goals, budget, and schedule.
Together with marketing and communications stakeholders, I created a content strategy that would fulfill the needs of each department as well as the customers and company.

IA & UX

Online surveys and card sorting played a big role in the taxonomy definition. I created high-fidelity prototypes to facilitate the approval process with the stakeholders as well as testing the interfaces.

User Interface

Together with a digital agency, we created the user interfaces following the global brand guideline.

Results

The project resulted in 20% more visits just by have increased the organic search results using SEO, and an increase of 200% in page views due to the new Interfaces, content strategy and navigation taxonomy, what exceeded the project goals.
