Well, hello there. Nice to meet you, finally.
I've already worked for agencies, big companies, and even started an incredible start-up with some college friends (check out Beavver).
All those places I've been, gave me the fantastic opportunity to learn how to be a valuable member of a team, work on large-scale designs, guidelines, brand identity, illustrations, iconography, user research, usability testing, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping (high or low, you choose), and things like use case, requirements, weekly status report presentations and ROI analyses.
Tools and Process
Besides having ideas popping up during a shower or commuting, I have a very personal creative process that I like to follow. I start by creating a notebook for the project on my Evernote, planning every single step before starting, get a cup of coffee latte (my favorite) and start researching. No matter what is the project about, I will research the industry, the customers, the competitors, what had people done before and create a mood board of references. My creative resources go from architectural concepts up to Dribbble shots.
The next step is sketching initial ideas for the flow and information. After that, I'm ready to create the next steps.
Well, I need to mention how much I enjoy checking a task as done!
